2 For, lo, the wicked|strong="H7563" bend|strong="H1869" their bow|strong="H7198", they make ready|strong="H3559" their arrow|strong="H2671" upon the string|strong="H3499", that they may privily|strong="H0652" shoot|strong="H3384" at the upright|strong="H3477" in heart|strong="H3820".
3 If the foundations|strong="H8356" be destroyed|strong="H2040", what can the righteous|strong="H6662" do|strong="H6466"?
4 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is in his holy|strong="H6944" temple|strong="H1964", the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* throne|strong="H3678" is in heaven|strong="H8064": his eyes|strong="H5869" behold|strong="H2372", his eyelids|strong="H6079" try|strong="H0974", the children|strong="H1121" of men|strong="H0120".
5 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* trieth|strong="H0974" the righteous|strong="H6662": but the wicked|strong="H7563" and him that loveth|strong="H0157" violence|strong="H2555" his soul|strong="H5315" hateth|strong="H8130".
6 Upon the wicked|strong="H7563" he shall rain|strong="H4305" snares|strong="H6341", fire|strong="H0784" and brimstone|strong="H1614", and an horrible|strong="H2152" tempest|strong="H7307": this shall be the portion|strong="H4521" of their cup|strong="H3563".
7 For the righteous|strong="H6662" \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* loveth|strong="H0157" righteousness|strong="H6666"; his countenance|strong="H6440" doth behold|strong="H2372" the upright|strong="H3477".
