Isaías 54

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

Sing|strong="H7442", O barren|strong="H6135", thou that didst not bear|strong="H3205"; break forth|strong="H6476" into singing|strong="H7440", and cry aloud|strong="H6670", thou that didst not travail with child|strong="H2342": for more|strong="H7227" are the children|strong="H1121" of the desolate|strong="H8074" than the children|strong="H1121" of the married wife|strong="H1166", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

Enlarge|strong="H7337" the place|strong="H4725" of thy tent|strong="H0168", and let them stretch forth|strong="H5186" the curtains|strong="H3407" of thine habitations|strong="H4908": spare|strong="H2820" not, lengthen|strong="H0748" thy cords|strong="H4340", and strengthen|strong="H2388" thy stakes|strong="H3489";

For thou shalt break forth|strong="H6555" on the right hand|strong="H3225" and on the left|strong="H8040"; and thy seed|strong="H2233" shall inherit|strong="H3423" the Gentiles|strong="H1471", and make the desolate|strong="H8074" cities|strong="H5892" to be inhabited|strong="H3427".

Fear|strong="H3372" not; for thou shalt not be ashamed|strong="H0954": neither be thou confounded|strong="H3637"; for thou shalt not be put to shame|strong="H2659": for thou shalt forget|strong="H7911" the shame|strong="H1322" of thy youth|strong="H5934", and shalt not remember|strong="H2142" the reproach|strong="H2781" of thy widowhood|strong="H0491" any more.

For thy Maker|strong="H6213" is thine husband|strong="H1166"; the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" is his name|strong="H8034"; and thy Redeemer|strong="H1350" the Holy One|strong="H6918" of Israel|strong="H3478"; The God|strong="H0430" of the whole earth|strong="H0776" shall he be called|strong="H7121".

For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath called|strong="H7121" thee as a woman|strong="H0802" forsaken|strong="H5800" and grieved|strong="H6087" in spirit|strong="H7307", and a wife|strong="H0802" of youth|strong="H5271", when thou wast refused|strong="H3988", saith|strong="H0559" thy God|strong="H0430".

For a small|strong="H6996" moment|strong="H7281" have I forsaken|strong="H5800" thee; but with great|strong="H1419" mercies|strong="H7356" will I gather|strong="H6908" thee.

In a little|strong="H8241" wrath|strong="H7110" I hid|strong="H5641" my face|strong="H6440" from thee for a moment|strong="H7281"; but with everlasting|strong="H5769" kindness|strong="H2617" will I have mercy|strong="H7355" on thee, saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy Redeemer|strong="H1350".

For this is as the waters|strong="H4325" of Noah|strong="H5146" unto me: for as I have sworn|strong="H7650" that the waters|strong="H4325" of Noah|strong="H5146" should no more go over|strong="H5674" the earth|strong="H0776"; so have I sworn|strong="H7650" that I would not be wroth|strong="H7107" with thee, nor rebuke|strong="H1605" thee.

For the mountains|strong="H2022" shall depart|strong="H4185", and the hills|strong="H1389" be removed|strong="H4131"; but my kindness|strong="H2617" shall not depart|strong="H4185" from thee, neither shall the covenant|strong="H1285" of my peace|strong="H7965" be removed|strong="H4131", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* that hath mercy|strong="H7355" on thee.

O thou afflicted|strong="H6041", tossed with tempest|strong="H5590", and not comforted|strong="H5162", behold, I will lay|strong="H7257" thy stones|strong="H0068" with fair colours|strong="H6320", and lay thy foundations|strong="H3245" with sapphires|strong="H5601".

And I will make|strong="H7760" thy windows|strong="H8121" of agates|strong="H3539", and thy gates|strong="H8179" of carbuncles|strong="H0068", and all thy borders|strong="H1366" of pleasant|strong="H2656" stones|strong="H0068".

And all thy children|strong="H1121" shall be taught|strong="H3928" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and great|strong="H7227" shall be the peace|strong="H7965" of thy children|strong="H1121".

In righteousness|strong="H6666" shalt thou be established|strong="H3559": thou shalt be far|strong="H7368" from oppression|strong="H6233"; for thou shalt not fear|strong="H3372": and from terror|strong="H4288"; for it shall not come near|strong="H7126" thee.

Behold, they shall surely|strong="H1481" gather together|strong="H1481", but not|strong="H0657" by me: whosoever|strong="H4310" shall gather together|strong="H1481" against thee shall fall|strong="H5307" for thy sake.

Behold, I have created|strong="H1254" the smith|strong="H2796" that bloweth|strong="H5301" the coals|strong="H6352" in the fire|strong="H0784", and that bringeth forth|strong="H3318" an instrument|strong="H3627" for his work|strong="H4639"; and I have created|strong="H1254" the waster|strong="H7843" to destroy|strong="H2254".

No weapon|strong="H3627" that is formed|strong="H3335" against thee shall prosper|strong="H6743"; and every tongue|strong="H3956" that shall rise|strong="H6965" against thee in judgment|strong="H4941" thou shalt condemn|strong="H7561". This is the heritage|strong="H5159" of the servants|strong="H5650" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and their righteousness|strong="H6666" is of me, saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
